The Best Facials in Melbourne: A Complete Guide
Melbourne has no shortage of facials, but not all facials are created equal. At Soraya Skin Clinic, every facial is prescriptive and tailored to your skin after a short consultation at our Prahran or Doncaster East clinic. Here is how the three premium facial systems we offer compare, and how to choose the right one for you.
1. DMK Enzyme Therapy: paramedical skin revision
DMK is the only paramedical skin revision system of its kind in Australia. Enzyme Therapy uses a setting enzyme masque to flush lymphatic congestion, oxygenate the skin and remaster skin function from the inside out. It's our most recommended facial for acne, ageing and pigmentation, and is delivered across four levels, from Level 1 maintenance through to Level 4 advanced revision.
2. Aspect Dr Facials & Peels: cosmeceutical results
Aspect Dr facials and peels use high-grade cosmeceutical actives for brightening, hydration, anti-ageing and gentle resurfacing. They deliver visible results with minimal downtime, ideal for clients who want a glow-up without committing to a full skin revision program.
3. Summer Glow & Signature Facials
Our seasonal signature facials are hydrating, glow-boosting and event-ready, perfect before weddings, holidays or special occasions.
Which facial is right for you?
- Acne & congestion: DMK Enzyme Therapy (Level 2 and above)
- Pigmentation & sun damage: Aspect Pigment Peel or DMK Level 3
- Ageing & fine lines: DMK Enzyme Therapy (Level 3-4)
- Dullness & dehydration: Aspect Hydrating Facial
- Sensitive or red skin: Aspect Lactobotanical Peel
- First facial or maintenance: Aspect Lactobotanical or DMK Level 1
How often should you get a facial?
For maintenance, every 4 to 6 weeks. For active skin revision (acne, pigmentation, ageing) we usually recommend a course of 6 facials spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart, then maintenance every 4 to 6 weeks.
